What is an art series
Art series means a collection consist of more than one artwork of an individual artist under a period of time. Almost all mediums of the arts can be developed into a series. An art series can share a similarity in terms of art elements or meaning behind them. As it was done under a period of time, an artist can expound on a particular subject, concept, idea, or a particular message that they would like to communicate or express through arts so that art in a series usually gives similar vibes with the others within its collection. It could have the same composition, proportion, color tone, using a similar technique, or at least have one common thread sharing together. Sometimes a single piece of art cannot communicate a whole concept or idea an artist has, and sometimes an art series can be an exploration developing from a single piece of art.
